DIT Popsicle Recipes

Whether you’re 2 or 102, few things beat a delicious popsicle on a hot summer day. But did you know you can make your own pops, ending the need for expensive and unhealthy store-bought popsicles? (Check out the ingredient list; ugh!)

All you need is a simple popsicle mold, available in grocery stores, big box stores, or online.

These simple, cheap plastic molds work much like ice-cube trays: Just pour liquid into them, add the reusable plastic sticks, and pop the whole thing into the freezer. A few hours later, pop a popsicle out (running the mold under warm tap water makes this easier) and enjoy!

Alternatively, you may reuse clean yogurt containers, adding wooden popsicle sticks after the liquid has thickened up a bit in the freezer.

And yes, popsicles can be as simple as pouring store bought juice or yogurt into a mold. But they can be so much more, too! For a yummy treat, try the popsicle recipes below.
